Notes on the guided hiking tour provided by Footprints Nature Exploration

You will  hike the Marathon / Appleton Creek section of the Sunshine Coast Trail and will be provided with a yummy home-made lunch. A certified and local guide will welcome you after breakfast.

The Marathon /Appleton Creek section offer some stunning views on Vancouver Island, Savary Island, the Salish Sea and towards Okeover Inlet and Desolation Sound. In spring the Appleton Creek is running vividly, you'll be welcomed to the creek by the sound of its rapids and waterfalls. You'll encounter some of the old growth 'gentle' giants and have lunch in the Rieveley's Pond Shelter, beautifully built by PRPAWS
